Throughout the years there have been many renowned adventurers who have done many great things, some have fought ancient dragons, some have bested creatures from beyond the planes or even the gods themselves. But there is one thing that no adventurer can defeat, old age. In his younger years Gilham Calbrick has a hero known up and down the Sword Coast, now he is an old man that has settled down to admire his many trophies. However for this once great hunter that is not enough, he wishes to add new and even more exotic creatures to his gallery and to do so he has taken to enlisted the aid of new and up-and-coming adventuring parties to acquire these trophies for him. As it just so happens he has received word of a strange new beast in the area that he would love to get his hands on.

This is a level 6 one-shot that I wrote for a group of varying experience so if D&D is an old hat to you or if this is your first time playing you are more than welcome at my table. Pre-generated character sheets will be provided and a quick rules explanation if needed.

A tabletop challenge of wit, will, and cardboard. Race against the clock (and other puzzlers) in this fast-paced jigsaw competition. Everyone gets the same puzzle, and the first team to finish wins glory, bragging rights, and maybe even a prize!
  1. Team Size & Tables
    • There are 6 tables, each with 1 puzzle and space for up to 6 players.
    • Teams are formed at the event based on who sits together.
    • If you and your friends all register on Sched and arrive early, you can grab a table together. Otherwise, you may be teamed up with new people—a great way to meet fellow puzzlers!
  2. Event Sign-Up
    • All participants must be registered for the event on Sched.
    • There are no team sign-ups or table reservations. Just show up, check in, and find a seat.
  3. The Game
    • All teams will receive the same puzzle.
    • When everyone is seated, the host will announce the start.
    • Your goal is to complete the puzzle before the other teams.
  4. Winning
    • The first team to fully complete their puzzle wins!
    • Small prizes and eternal puzzling glory await the champions.
